Unlocking Hubbub Lite requires registering your website’s copy of the free version of Hubbub. You can register Hubbub Lite (version 1.36.0 and above) by clicking “Get More Features” in the plugin header bar.
💡 Tip: Be sure you’re running Hubbub Lite 1.36.0 or greater by visiting your website’s Plugins Admin page.
When you register Hubbub Lite, you unlock the following:
- All Share Buttons in the Floating Sidebar and Inline Content Tool including Flipboard, Threads, Bluesky, and Mastodon, and many others.
- All Follow Buttons to be included anywhere widgets or shortcodes are supported including Apple Podcasts, Email, Instagram, Spotify, and more.

No, it is free to register as many websites running Hubbub Lite as you’d like. We hope that you love the extra features!
Where can I find my Hubbub Lite license key? #
When you register by clicking “Unlock” in Hubbub Lite’s settings in your WordPress Admin, we will automatically save the license key for your website in your Hubbub > Settings.
Also, you can always log into your account with the email address you used to register Hubbub Lite and find your license key.
Do I need to register every website separately? #
Yes. We recommend registering each website separately so you have a license key for each website that uses Hubbub Lite, but you can use the same email address across many websites.
