The shortcode lets you drop social share buttons anywhere inside your post content — handy for those times when you want them in a specific spot rather than just before or after your content.
Note: This shortcode works with the Inline Content tool only. It won’t work with the Floating Sidebar or other display tools.
By default, the shortcode pulls its settings from your Inline Content Tool configuration, so if you’ve already got that set up the way you like it, you’re good to go — just add the shortcode, and it’ll match.
That said, you can override individual settings using the attributes below if you need something different in a specific spot.
Note: The proper syntax for shortcodes uses an equal sign (=) to separate the attribute from the value.
Example:
id: The id of the HTML element that wraps the share buttons.
networks: A comma-separated list of the social networks you’d like to display. Available network names are: Facebook, Twitter, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Reddit, VKontakte, Threads, Tumblr, Xing, Buffer, WhatsApp, and Flipboard. To see a complete list, visit our homepage.
networks_labels: A comma-separated list of the labels you’d like to appear on each button, in the same order as your networks list above. Example: “Share on Facebook, Tweet about it, Pin It”.
button_style: The style of the buttons. Accepts a number from 1 to 8 — head to the Inline Content tool’s settings page to preview each style.
size: The size of the buttons. Supported values are small, medium, large.
shape: The shape of the buttons. Supported values are rectangular, rounded, circle.
columns: The number of columns to spread the buttons across. Can be auto or a number from 1 to 4.
show_mobile: (yes/no) Use yes to show the buttons on mobile, no to hide them.
show_labels: (yes/no) Use yes to show the button labels, no to hide them.
show_labels_mobile: (yes/no) Use yes to show labels on mobile. New!
button_spacing: (yes/no) Use yes to add spacing around the buttons, or no to remove it.
show_count: (yes/no) Whether to show the social share count for each network.
show_total_count: (yes/no) Whether to show the total share count for the post.
total_count_position: Where to display the total share count relative to the buttons. Use before to show it before the buttons, or after to show it after them.
overwrite: Set this to yes if you’d like the shortcode to ignore your saved Inline Content settings entirely and rely only on the attributes you’ve provided here.
